Ponds, Waterfalls and Pond Liners

Junic stocks:

Lifetime guaranteed 0.5 mm PVC pond linerl, Atlantis Fibre glass ponds, Plastic ponds

PVC Pond liner is cut to size from rolls and is quickly available (usually within 10 minutes) up to 25 metres by 12 metres.

Larger liners are available to order in PVC, Butyl and Firestone Rubber. Our PVC liners are strong and flexible and well suited to all except the very largest ponds (lakes!) Liner underlay (felt) is also stocked.

Many Atlantis fibre glass ponds are usually on display and delivery can be arranged both ex-stock and to order.

Plastic ponds from several leading manufactures including Blagdon, Lotus and Bermuda are available from small (50 litres) to large (2000 litres).

We also maintain a large number of both fibre glass and plastic waterfalls and water courses on display. They are available in a variety of finishes and textures and can be used either as a beautiful replacement for stone or as a water proof base to be covered with natural stone.

Sizes range from 300 litres per hour for small water features to 15,000 litres per hour for large waterfalls and filtration systems with maximum lifts up to 10 metres.

We endeavour to offer the best pump for each application and will ascertain each customer’s requirements in order to do so. Our knowledge of the unit’s performance characteristics will be matched with both the technical and visual needs of the particular use it will be put to.

Biological Filtration

A comprehensive range of filter mediums, foams and spares is available as well as starter cultures and accelerators.

As with pumps, Junic will try to offer the most appropriate unit for each application. The more expensive pressurised filters would be suggested where a gravity-fed item cannot easily be concealed.

Most filters offered have built-in Ultra Violet Clarifiers to prevent green water but straight biological units are also available as indeed as stand-alone UVs.

We have considerable experience in the complex subject of matching UVs to water volumes and locations as well as to pre-existing and new filter systems and pumps and will be pleased to discuss this in detail and to offer the correct UV unit.

Sizes range from small (4 Watt) to large (55 Watt) covering the range from 200 to 45,000 Litres per unit.

UV bulbs, Quartz Sleeves and spares are available.

Junic also maintains a huge range of water fittings, flexible hose (clear and reinforced), valves, fountain heads and many similar items which are essential for setting-up water and filtration systems. Sizes stocked range between 6 and 40mm.

We stock high, medium and low protein flakes, sticks and pellets, wheat germ (pellets, sticks and flakes) as well as sinking pellets in a variety of container and bag sizes.

Lighting

We offer various in and around the pond lighting - either as sets or separates. Lights can be floating, submerged or pond-side with either conventional or halogen bulbs. Spot and dispersed lights are available in a variety of colours and intensities.

Solar lights provide interest points as their outputs are modest compared to conventional, mains-powered units.

Ornaments

We have a good range of water ornaments on display including those for indoor use as well as those intended for use in or around the pond. Indoor units are self contained having a water reservoir and pump incorporated into their construction.

Ornaments for use outside can also be self contained although many require a separate pump and water container such as an existing pond. They are particularly effective when combined with lighting and viewed at night. Our range of ornaments is constantly changing as are those displayed working. We are also unable to display all of those in stock so please ask if you cannot see what you are looking for.
